The Fringe Arts is a Pop-up-Shop at the Waterfront, Alfred Mall in Cape Town. This is the fabulous concept that is owned and run by Chantal Louw and Thessa Bos who both have a passion for contemporary South African design. This dynamic duo showcase a collective of artists and designers in a Gallery-Shop environment until the end of November 2010 allowing lucky shoppers, like me, to find all my Christmas loot at the convenience of one destination. There is something magical about buying gifts for loved ones that have the made-with-love-energy and this comes with the beauty of each purchase at The Fringe Arts. Every piece of treasure that is made, for both the young and the old is made with the care that will last longer than my lifetime. Wow! to this shoppers paradise ….

To see the Summer Sky;
Is Poetry, though never in a Book it lie –
True Poems flee –
- Emily Dickinson
This is such a feminine window display and it feels true to my own personal lifestyle. The entire feeling of a garden and the words from a poem by Emily Dickinson as a window decal mmmm makes me feel happy inside. It is 100% summer. This brand understands herself and her message is one of Beauty and Poetry. I love how the brand name ‘Poetry’ is treated in the decal. This window provokes feelings. When I look at the window I want to dress up in beautiful summer white and complete it with a summer sun hat, then kick off my shoes and dreamily stroll around the public gardens drinking in the ambiance, the perfumes and the visual beauty. It works wonders for my soul! Thank You! Poetry Facebook Page.
