World Cup 2010 – Sportscene

This is a 100% pertinent football culture window display that is all about the adidas merchandise and the street lifestyle it evokes. There is superb art direction and photography in the urban street style football backdrop posters. Using these to set the scene has added depth to the display and created a sense of interaction between the mannequins and the action in the posters. The simple use of an old tv as a prop is also appealing and adds in an extra dimension. The window decal gives us the message, but I am not sure if it integrates with the theme. The adidas branding and merchandise on offer is definitely the best. The subtle and realistic styling on the mannequins is done with a relaxed sense of ease and a good visual eye for detail. The colourful use of merchandise throughout the display is tastefully done and the positioning of the mannequins works well and brings the scene into life. Overall a fantastic window display.
